Our first game will be played on August 28th. Currently the game schedule is under construction by the LCAJFL and schedules will soon follow.

What to Bring to Practice
For the first three (3) days of practice football players must wear their helmet, practice jersey, shorts, and cleats, and mouth guard. Football participants are required to supply and wear their own black, non-detachable, rubber cleated or plastic molded shoes (no metal cleats allowed) and athletic supporter and cup. It is suggested to purchase your cleats prior to the first practice to break them in. Cheerleaders should wear a T-shirt, shorts, socks and tennis shoes.

After the first 3 days of practice, football players must wear their full practice uniform including practice jersey, all pads, helmet, mouth guard, athletic supporter and cup, socks and plastic molded cleats.

***NOTE***
Football players cannot wear full pads until they have been to and participated in practice for 3 days without pads. Football players cannot participate in full contact with pads until they have practiced 3 days without pads AND until they have practiced 2 days with full pads but with no player to player contact (5 total practice days).
NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE!

STAY HYDRATED!!!
Drink water during the day.
All participants must bring their own water bottle (at least 1 gallon suggested) to each practice.

GET FIRED UP and GET READY FOR THE 2010 BJF SEASON!!

Note on football cleats:
As a reminder, when purchasing football cleats, purchase molded cleats. Here is the exact rule regarding cleats from the LCAJFL Rule Book:

Shoes: Sneakers or non-detachable rubber cleated or plastic molded
shoes are required. No metal or screw-on type cleats will be allowed (male threaded nylon, screw-in cleats are permitted). Length of cleat is no greater than 1/2 inch. If player has a screw-in cleat, it must be plastic with no metal showing.
