BJF 2010 Registration News
Come and play football and cheer for Brighton Junior Football in 2010!! It is time to register for tackle football and cheerleading for boys entering the 1st through 8th grade and girls entering the 1st through 8th grade in the fall of 2010. Brighton Junior Football plays its home games at Brighton High School and plays the same KVC teams our high school plays. Come play and cheer for BJF in 2010!!

If your son or daughter will be entering grades 1 through 8 in the fall of 2010, read on for registration details for football and cheer with the BJF DAWGS!!!
Returning Members Register by Mail:
Please mail your forms and check(s) to the Brighton Junior Football address at the bottom of this web page by March 2nd to hold your spot for the 2010 Season. Please Note: Registration is only open for RETURNING members through March 2nd. Between now and March 2nd, returning members who register will be guaranteed a spot on the roster. After March 2nd, returning members will be treated as new members and will be added to the roster on a first come, first served basis until all roster spots have been filled.
In-person registration is after the returning member deadline. All in-person registrations will be treated as new members on a first come, first served basis.

Bring your completed registration form, 50% deposit and grade reports to in-person registration on March 3rd at Dick’s Sporting Goods at Green Oak Village Place.
Registration for new members will remain open as long as roster spots are available. Once roster spots are filled, a waiting list will be started. You will be notified of your roster status via email after registrations have been processed.
BJF 2010 Registration Fees (Same Fees as in 2009)
$225 for Football
$175 for Cheer/Pom
Checks are to be made payable to Brighton Junior Football.
For families with more than two participants, they will receive a 50% discount applied to the lowest registration fee(s) starting with the third child.
What is included in your registration fee (football players):
For your registration fee, Brighton Junior Football will supply football pads, girdle, helmet, chin strap, mouth guard, tee shirt, belt, pants and game and practice jerseys.
Football players are required to supply an athletic supporter and cup, practice socks, shorts and football shoes (no metallic cleats).
Cheerleaders will receive a tee shirt, music tape and cheer uniform.

IMPORTANT: Fill out all of the registration forms and mail in your registration fees along with the filled out and signed forms. If you are a New Member, bring all of your filled out forms and registration fees to the New Member Registration on March 3rd (see above). Also download the Physical Form and be sure to have this form filled out and turned in before the first day of practice. The Physical Form must be dated April 15th, 2010 or later.
Grade Reports: A copy of a current grade card or similar independent document indicating students name and current grade (i.e. progress reports, Zangle’s ParentConnect document, etc.) are required. If a participant is home schooled, the parents must submit a copy of the birth certificate along with a signed statement that the participant will be entering whatever grade they will be entering the Fall of 2010 (this is only available for home schooled participants). Proof of Grade is required by the LCAJFL and must be submitted at registration. If at all possible, We would like to avoid much of the administrative issues associated with missing paperwork.
You must submit your forms, and a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT when you register by mail or in person to hold your spot on a roster. Your balance is due on the day of equipment pick up, which will be in July. You may pay more than the 50% deposit if you choose at registration. A full refund will be given if documentation is provided indicating that your child did not pass his/her physical.
