Dawg Duties

BJF Dawg Duties

Why do we have Dawg Duties?
Parents help make the BJF program a huge success each year. One of the key ways parents help is by doing their share of BJF Dawg Duties. Dawg duties are required at BJF home games because aside from our member registration fees, much of our BJF revenue is generated at HOME GAMES. All parents of football players and cheerleaders must perform their Dawg Duties in order for the BJF program to be a success. Dawg Duties are fun and are a great chance to meet other members within BJF!

When will Dawg Duties be posted on the website?
Even though most of you have already been assigned your Dawg Duties, it is important to check back here each week during the season to verify your Dawg Duties during our next home game. Sometimes there can be last minute changes and updates.

Please remember: If you have not voluntarily signed up for a Dawg Duty, you may be automatically signed up for a Dawg Duty and will be responsible for showing up on time and performing that duty.

When and where do I need to report for my Dawg Duty?
Please be sure to report and sign in at least 10 minutes early when reporting to your Dawg Duty. ALL SIGN IN TAKES PLACE IN THE CONCESSION STAND BY THE MICROWAVE. 50/50 IS TO BE PICKED UP IN THE CONCESSION STAND AS WELL. If you do not sign in, we will assume that you were a NO SHOW and will delegate another duty for you at the next home game or take some other appropriate action.

TEENAGERS THAT ARE NOT PART OF THE BJF PROGRAM ARE NOT ALLOWED INTO THE CONCESSION STAND AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON.

***NOTE***

Parents who do not show up for their assigned dawg duties leave more work for the parents who dutifully do show up. If you do not show up, you are hurting our BJF program.
If any parent is unable to commit to their Dawg Duties for any reason, it is their responsibility to find a replacement.

Please contact the Dawg Duty Chairperson only as a last resort if you cannot find a replacement for your assigned dawg duties.
